University of Nevada, Reno

Graduate Teaching Assistant

ENGR 100 Engineering Design Skills Lab

Freshman level

  • Mentor first-year engineering students through hands-on, multidisciplinary labs: data analysis in Excel, data acquisition with LabVIEW, materials testing, introductory circuit design, and biomedical engineering projects.
  • Guide students on lab procedures, safe use of equipment, and teamwork on design tasks.
  • Grade assignments and lab reports, and provide feedback to the students.

EE 120 Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering

Freshman / Sophomore level

  • Deliver lectures and assist instruction in basic circuit analysis for freshman and sophomore students.
  • Teach circuit simulation in Multisim and computation in MATLAB, and supervise Arduino UNO-based projects.
  • Help students connect circuit theory to measurements and debug their hardware and code.
  • Help create lesson plans, lecture slides, and assignments.
  • Grade assignments and project reports, and provide feedback.

EE 490L Electrical Projects Laboratory

Senior level

  • Support senior-level labs on active and passive filters, Arduino-based motor control, and buck and boost DC–DC converters.
  • Help students design, build, and troubleshoot their circuits and interpret measured results.
  • Grade quizzes and lab reports, and provide feedback to the students.

Course administration, assignments, and grading through Canvas LMS.
